I have 'no signal' on screen from my DVR.
If you are receiving a 'no signal' or blank screen when trying to access your DVR, here are a few things you could check.
-
Are you on the correct channel?
These systems can be connected via HDMI or VGA. Make sure you are on the correct channel.
-
Does the DVR have power?
Is the power light on the DVR on? If this is off or flashing, check here.
-
Test if the internal hard drive has encountered an issue.
Test this by disconnecting power to the DVR and open the DVR box up.
The hard drive is connected to the main board - disconnect the two cables joining them so the hard drive is disconnected.
Power up the main board with the hard drive disconnected, see if it boots up on your screen allowing you to see the cameras and access the main menu.
If the main PCB powers up with the hard drive disconnected and you can access the Main Menu, then this would show that the hard drive is the cause of this issue.
A replacement SATA hard drive can be purchased from any good computer store.
Please email help@cocoonproducts.com.au with your proof of purchase and a brief explanation of the issue you've encountered and tests performed if your product is still within its 12-month warranty.
